Learning never stops.

The hair industry is constantly evolving, and so is our understanding of hair. That's why I believe learning should never stop.

I don't claim to know everything, but I am committed to continuously learn and question what I know. 

That's how I grow, and how Growing Roots grows too.

My professional journey began at København Frisørskole in 2021, where I trained in Sassoon haircutting and colouring techniques, building a strong technical foundation.

Alongside my education, I expanded my knowledge through BTC Online University, learning from hairdressers around the world. My studies have included advanced haircutting techniques, textured and patterned hair, and colour services such as Foilayage of Ashlee Norman.

I have also completed training in hairstyling and makeup in Quito, Ecuador, and eyebrow design in Copenhagen, allowing me to offer a more complete approach to beauty services. Every course, every book, every research article, and every conversation with other professionals helps me refine my knowledge and improve the care I offer. 

Understanding how hair works is just as important to me as knowing how to cut it.

To deepen my knowledge, I completed an online course in Trichology for hair practitioners, studying hair and scalp biology with a certified trichologist in London.

Since then, I've continued learning independently about topics such as: hair structure, scalp health, hair ingredients, cosmetic chemistry, hair damage and repair, curly and textured hair and evidence informed hair care.

My goal is to separate myths from facts so I can provide recommendations based on current knowledge, rather than marketing trends.

Growing Roots isn't only about helping your hair grow, it's also about growing together through knowledge, and knowledge becomes valuable when it's combined with experience. Every client teaches me something new, and every experience helps me become a better professional.

My goal isn't simply to follow trends, it's to understand the science behind hair and scalp health so I can provide honest and personalized guidance to every client.
